When sourcing and buying vintage it is important to notice the condition of the piece you are buying. Each listing over in the shop has its condition mentioned in the description. Below is a detailed overview of what each condition name means.
excellent: almost no sign of wear, looks brand new.
great: normal signs of wear expected for age but nothing visible.
good: shows normal signs of wear expected for age with some minor visible problems. Nothing to detract when worn.
fair: has obvious signs of wear, structurally intact. Problems could be fixed to improve condition.
inspirational: not suitable to be worn but great has great historical or fashion interest for design inspiration
Each item that is listed in the shop is carefully inspected and measured. The measurements are taken with the garment lying flat. We try to list as main points that are relevant as possible. If you feel that there is something missing, please let us know.
